These Terms govern your use of https://lidstick.com (the "Site") operated by Lid Stick, LLC. By using the Site or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms.

1. Waitlist signup

Joining the VIP list does not constitute a purchase. You will receive a welcome email and, on launch day, a private link to back the Kickstarter campaign. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in each email.

2. Kickstarter campaign

Any pre-order or pledge happens on Kickstarter and is governed by Kickstarter's own Terms of Use. Pricing on the waitlist landing page is indicative and subject to the final campaign listing. No payment is processed by us via this Site.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to (a) submit false or third-party email addresses, (b) attempt to bypass rate limits or other security measures, (c) reverse-engineer or scrape the Site beyond what is permitted by robots.txt, or (d) use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

4. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and trademarks on the Site are owned by Lid Stick, LLC or its licensors. You may not reproduce or republish them without prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial viewing.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

6. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LID STICK, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $100.

7. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Disputes will be brought exclusively before the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; the effective date will reflect the latest revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
